There aren't many things that I think I'd agree with Jerry Agar about. He's essentially the Rush Limbaugh of Canada, known for his far right-wing stance which includes a pretty hefty dose of misogyny and homophobia. He's not the kind of guy that this queer feminist hippie would have expected to have a civil conversation with.
But we did.
Because there's one thing that can unite people across political lines: the desire to see children healthy and vaccinated. That's why I was honored to appear on Straight Talk with Jerry Agar discussing my experiences with the anti-vaccine movement.
